John grew up in Mendham, NJ where he excelled in music as an all-state trumpet player. He graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University with a degree in small business management.While in college, John earned his tuition working for a number of local moving and storage companies. During those four years, he learned the business from the ground up and gained an appreciation for the value and importance of carefully training all movers and packers in the proper materials handling techniques and customer service skills.
In 1981, upon graduation, John moved to Naples, Florida with his wife Cindy to take a position as General Manager of RAY THE MOVER. Today, John and Cindy have three daughters and John serves as President and sole owner of RAY THE MOVER, taking an active role in both the day to day activities and long range planning of this “top quality” awarded company.
Over the years, John has spent much of his time in “service to others” as a District Governor of Rotary International, Chairman of the Board for the Greater Naples YMCA, Board Member for the Collier County Shelter for Abused Women and the Southwest Florida Boy Scouts of America and as a strong supporter of countless other local charitable organizations. He often travels in Rotary service, most recently in humanitarian missions to India and Ukraine. John is a member of the 2010-2012 Rotary International Board of Directors and is currently assisting with Rotary Haiti Earthquake Relief efforts.
In his spare time, John enjoys coaching youth basketball and is a competitive auto racer.
 Cindy Martin, Office Manager, Naples office

Cindy is a rare Florida native, born in Hollywood, FL. Cindy moved to Naples in 1969 and graduated from Naples High School in 1976. Cindy and her husband Rob have 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
Cindy worked in the accounting department of major department store for 8 years before joining the staff of RAY THE MOVER in 1991. Cindy handles all financial aspects at the company including payroll, accounts payables and receivables, and short term budgeting. Additionally, she runs the Business Record Storage department.
Outside of the office, Cindy enjoys Miami Dolphins Football and cruises to resort destinations.
 Brenda Rollins, Office Manager, Fort Myers office

Brenda grew up in Louisville, KY and graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1971, with a degree in Education. While working a part-time job in retail furniture, she was asked to join the staff full-time and was promoted to a managerial position in Houston, Texas. From there she was promoted to the corporate office in Atlanta, Georgia, as a buyer of the retail furniture chain with over 100 stores.
Brenda met her husband, Skip Rollins who owned the North American Van Lines Agency in Columbia, SC. In 1988 she went to work in the business as the Office Manager and handled all accounting functions.
After selling the agency in 2001, Brenda moved to SW Florida and joined Ray the Mover. In December 2004 she was promoted to Office Manager of Ray the Mover's newly opened Fort Myers office. Brenda has a total of 22 years experience with North American Van Lines.
Outside of the office Brenda enjoys traveling, boating and making jewelry.

 Jeff Smith, Sales, Naples office

Jeff was born in Middlesex, NJ and holds the distinction of being a third generation mover. A resident of Naples since 1984 and a graduate of Lely High School, Jeff and his wife Valerie have two daughters.
Jeff started at RAY THE MOVER in 1990 and over the years has held a wide variety of positions. He began as a high value packer and local mover and then worked as a driver in the long distance hauling fleet. After a few years on the road, Jeff moved into the office as the local dispatcher, then as manager of our Business Records Storage division and ultimately as a household goods salesman, a position he holds today.
Jeff uses his vast moving and storage knowledge and his personal hands on experience to assist his customers in facilitating a stress-free local or long distance relocation. His ability to understand the particular service requirements and customize a move to the individual needs of each customer makes Jeff a great asset in both the high value household goods and office relocation areas.
Kirk Saunders, Sales, Naples office

Kirk was born in Florida at the Naval Air Station/Pensacola and traveled all over the U.S. as a child, enjoying the typical life of a Navy family. Following in his father’s footsteps, Kirk also joined the Navy and served his country for two years.
Kirk moved to Naples in 1995 and began his employment at RAY THE MOVER. Kirk started as a packer and mover, exhibiting exemplary skills in handling high valued artwork and antique furniture. Kirk quickly became one of RAY THE MOVER’s most “requested” movers.
From 1996 through 1999, Kirk was part of the RAY THE MOVER long distance hauling fleet and once again demonstrated his “passion for excellence” with every move.
In 2000, Kirk was brought into the sales department, where he utilizes his 9 years of practical moving experience to guide each of his customers through the entire moving process. Kirk has the ability to make even the most complex relocation a manageable one, and still, upon occasion, will “get behind the wheel” and personally deliver his customers household goods to or from most any part of the country.
